Card Captor Sakura
(カードキャプターさくら,
Kādo Kyaputā Sakura
) (también conocido en español como
Sakura, Cazadora de Cartas
o
Sakura Card Captors
) es un manga y anime creado por el grupo CLAMP y trata sobre las aventuras y sentimientos de una niña llamada Sakura Kinomoto que tiene que capturar y cuidar unas cartas magicas.
Debido a su amplia difución internacional es uno de los animes y mangas más populares del grupo CLAMP.
En Japón, el manga fue publicado desde junio de 1996 hasta octubre del 2000, en un total de 50 entregas, publicadas en la revista de manga shoujo
Nakayoshi
. Posteriormente se publicaron 12 tomos recopilatorios. El anime constó de 70 capítulos divididos en tres temporadas y fue transmitido desde el 7 de abril de 1998 hasta el 21 de marzo del 2000 en la televisora japonesa NHK. Dos películas salieron en 1999 y 2000; "Card Captor Sakura: La Película" y "Card Captor Sakura: La Carta Sellada".
